Door Closes, Window Opens Kinda Thing

After parting with the best part of £600 I can finally pick up my car tomorrow yay! I cant wait as I haven't driven in a loooonngg time, first thing on the agenda is to hit the beach! Fingers crossed that the almost flat surf predicted for tomorrow is gonna magically pick up overnight??? Will have to pray to the surf gods before bed!!

 I finally got around to making those macaroons though. They didn't come out quite right, needed more yellow coloring and longer in the cooker I think, but most of the hard work is in the prepping and making sure you have the right equipment. And also make sure you have enough of the ingredients, as I realised half way through, I was 50g short of icing sugar but luckily they still taste dee-lish yum yum!

Will be trying the rose ones next, and hopefully perfect them in time to go with some cupcakes for the Royal wedding.

First Love

Because there are just too many beautiful things in life that I love, I needed space to document!!! Beginning with my first love and where I wish I was right now……..

Its probably not the best its ever been, but its looking pretty good down there right now. Unfortunately due to car being in the garage and the boyfriend in Ireland, myself and the longboard are resolved to also just watching it on a screen for now! But I want this space for the other things in life apart from surfing and one of the biggest occupying my head space right now are these!

Haven’t had chance to make any yet, but they all look delicious and are a great alternative to the cupcake, especially for people like me who are gluten free foodies!
